The main feature of White BlackBerry Pearl is the myFav application form T-Mobile that allows the user to send unlimited email and instant messages to five contacts irrespective of the carrier. This service uses a single tap of the phone to perform this function. It also allows one touch effortless access to email and text messaging. The phone’s internet facility allows access to 10 supported personal and corporate email accounts. This service supports the instant messaging clients like Yahoo, AOL, MSN and ICQ. The enhanced SureType keyboard allows the user to type messages easily and quickly. The screen has a large innovative ultra-bright light sensing technology that displays sharp images in 240 x 260 pixel resolution by automatically optimizing the screen. The user interface is intuitive with the trackball, dedicated menu, escape keys and context sensitive menus for easy navigation

It has call management features like speed dialing, smart dialing; call forwarding, conference calling. It has Bluetooth support for hands free operations. The phone has speaker independent voice recognition for voice activated dialing. There are accessories such as car kits, headset with Bluetooth support and dedicated keys for various functions. The phone offers international roaming with Quad-band GSM / GPRS and EDGE network support. The phone has 1.3 mega pixel camera with 3 zoom levels up to 5x and built in flash. The new BlackBerry maps allow the user to launch maps form other applications and find services. There is a multimedia player with headset jack that supports formats like MP3, AAC and other music files and MPEG4 and H263 video files. The phone has 64 MB built in flash memory expandable through the microSD slot. The HTML browser offers effortless internet surfing even while on the go.
